Development: A balanced approach to growth while preserving our rural southern county. Utilize our existing buildings to their full potential before acquiring new real estate and projects. Work with Mayors and Council members to achieve historically correct downtown areas that attract small businesses to serve our communities.
Fiscal Responsibility: Invest wisely without wasting funds. Continued support for the Economic Development Council's grant programs that reduce the need for more tax dollars.
Infrastructure: Create goals for responsible growth. Support the County Road Department with proper funding and management training focused on efficiency.
Alternative to Detention Programs: Advocate for work release programs and a needed North St. Clair County Juvenile Detention Center.
Human Resource Management: As we continue to prosper, cost of living allowance for county employees with no reduction to current benefit programs.
